This is your CRM view where you can manage all of your account’s contacts. You can perform bulk actions, add filters, and carry out various tasks directly from this page.
Log into your account and you’ll see a number of features and tools along the left-hand sidebar. Start by opening the Contacts tab.
These are your contact records. You can customise sorting, adjust which columns are visible, change how many contacts display per page, and click on a contact to view it individually.
Use the Columns dropdown to hide or show specific fields, and use the Search Bar to locate a record or apply filters to narrow your list.
You can select one or more contacts to perform bulk actions like tagging, messaging, adding to workflow automations, exporting, and more.
This is where you’ll find all your contacts, as well as your saved Smart Lists—these are filtered contact lists that you create and save for future use.
To create a smart list, start by adjusting the columns and applying filters using the Columns dropdown and More Filters button.
Below the top menu of your Smart List, there’s a list of Bulk Actions you can apply to one or more selected contacts.
You can:
– Add, move, or update contacts in a pipeline
– Add them to a workflow
– Add or remove a tag
– Delete contacts
– Send review requests
– Export contact details with visible columns
– Merge contacts
You can also send a one-off email message to selected contacts. The system will let you know that the more contacts you choose, the longer it will take to send.
You can customise your email message by pulling in a template, editing the “From” details, and using custom fields, values, or trigger links.
There are three sending options:
– Send immediately (can’t be cancelled)
– Schedule to send later
– Drip out emails over time in batches
Drip mode is the most common option for groups of 15 or more contacts. It helps avoid overwhelming your email provider. Best practice is to send no more than 250 emails per day during your first week, and gradually increase from there.
This model is what we recommend when beginning email outreach from your account. You’ll also be able to label your action with a description to help you remember what the email was for.
Don’t forget—you can always check stats and details under the Bulk Actions tab at the top.
That’s it! Make sure to follow any lesson instructions below and mark this as complete to keep moving forward.
