Login to your account, you will see various tools and features along the left sidebar. We are going to start by opening Settings.
You will then open Reputation Management. On the right side, click the button “Send Review Request.” Here you will be able to type in a customer’s name and select their contact.
After selecting a contact, you will be able to send the review invite directly from here. The review link allows you to switch out any links. For example, if you are looking for reviews for Facebook, grab your Facebook review link and place it here. The link placed here will also be the link provided within the review request. Remember to click Save after changing the link.
You can also customise your review request behaviour to decide what happens when the button is clicked. You can further customise this for the Custom Schedule option. To turn on or off your SMS review ability, click the button on the right.
Once you allow SMS review requests, you have the option to decide whether or not you’d like an image. You can also add or change an image, as well as customise the actual message that gets sent out in the review request. Remember to click Save.
Just like SMS reviews, you can turn on email reviews the same way. On this page, you can customise the subject, heading, and the message that gets sent out. The positive answer button can also be changed. In the example on the right, it says “yes,” but you are able to customise that to whatever you’d like. Also note that this will always send as the user that is logged in—it will send from the person who is executing the action.
Lastly, we have our review widget. This is a widget you can automatically pull into funnels and websites. You can also embed this widget into any other platforms using the provided code.
Under Header Title, you are able to customise the title. You can also customise the hex codes here. On the bottom, you can also preview the mobile view, the tablet view, and the laptop view for both the email and the widget.
Now that we’ve talked about how to customise all of these settings, we’re now going to look at how to send them and see the progress.
There are a few ways to send review requests out, and one of them is in the Quick Actions button on the left sidebar. After clicking Quick Actions, you will see the option to send a review request. After clicking on that, you can select a contact and send them the review.
Another way you can send review requests is within the Contacts tab. Choose your list of contacts, then choose the “Send Review Request” bulk action. This will allow you to choose either SMS or email review requests to send to your selected list.
Lastly, just click Send Review Request. You can also directly send it to a contact by opening the contact record, selecting SMS or Email at the bottom, and clicking “Use a Template.”
Another way we can send review requests is through workflows. Start by clicking the Automation tab on the left sidebar, then select the workflow you’d like to add a review request to. Once you’re in, scroll to where you want the review request added and click the Add button.
From the list on the right, scroll until you find “Send Review Request.” Once selected, choose whether you’d like to add the email or SMS review to your workflow, and click Save Action. Now when the workflow hits that step, it will automatically send the type of review request you chose.
To view the review requests you’ve sent out, click “Reputation” on the left sidebar. Here you can also send review requests, view your invite score, reviews received, your average rating, sentiment rating, as well as invite trends, review trends, latest requests, and latest reviews all on one page.
At the top, under “Request,” you can view the status of each request. Under “Reviews,” you can view all reviews received. Under “Listings,” you can view your connected listings if you’ve signed up for that service. Click “Settings” on the top bar to customise your review request defaults.
That’s it. Make sure to follow any lesson instructions below and mark this as complete to keep moving forward.
