Efficient time management is crucial for individuals and businesses. One essential aspect of effective scheduling is syncing calendar integration seamlessly. Integrating calendars brings a host of benefits, making it a vital step in creating a booking calendar. By merging platforms and centralising bookings, you can avoid double bookings, manage time better, and enjoy real-time updates.
In this context, we’ll explore the advantages of syncing calendar integrations and why it is essential in developing a comprehensive booking calendar solution.
We’ll first start by going to the Calendars tab on the left sidebar and clicking Calendar Settings at the top. You’ll then want to go over to Connections and make sure that you connect either your Google or your Outlook calendars.
First, you’ll select Sign in with Google, then choose your account and select Allow. You’ll also want to make sure that you choose your main integration calendar.
Under that, you can choose any of the calendars that you want to check for conflicts so that you can avoid double booking.
You can also choose to connect Zoom here if you like.
If we head over to the Availability tab, we can go and select our time zone and the days and times that you are available.
Under Preferences, you have the option to choose where your meeting location is—whether that be Custom, Zoom, or Google Meet.
Embracing calendar synchronisation not only enhances operational efficiency but also provides convenience and improved user experiences for both service providers and customers.
Syncing your calendar integrations is the first step in being able to book an appointment on your calendar.
That’s it. Make sure to follow any lesson instructions below and mark this as complete to keep moving forward.
