Welcome to this tutorial on how to send an email and SMS campaign in My Studio Manager. These tools will help you keep in touch with your clients, whether it’s sharing news, sending reminders, or promoting new classes.
Let’s go through the steps together. To start, we’ll walk through how to send an email campaign. From your dashboard, go to the left-hand menu and click on Marketing.
Then choose Campaigns. This is where you can manage and create your campaigns. Click Create Campaign and choose Email. Next, you’ll have two options.
Select an existing email template or build your own from scratch. If you select a template, you can customise it with your own text, images, and buttons to fit your message.
If you choose to build from scratch, you can use the drag and drop editor to create your email layout. Add your studio’s logo, images, text, and call to action buttons.
Don’t forget to create a compelling subject line to catch your client’s attention and use the preview option to ensure everything looks perfect.
Once your email is ready, it’s time to decide who will receive it. You can send your campaign to smart lists or manually select individual contacts from your database.
Click Add Recipients. Choose a smart list, such as Parents of Enrolled Students, or manually select Contacts. Make sure your contacts have valid email addresses to receive the campaign.
Now that your email is ready and your audience is selected, you can either send it immediately or schedule it for a specific time.
If you want to send the email right away, click Send Now. If you prefer to schedule it, click Schedule, select the date and time you want it sent, and click Save.
After sending the campaign, you can track its performance by going back to campaigns. Here, you can view important metrics such as open rates.
How many people opened the email? Click-through rates. How many people clicked on the links inside the email? Bounce rates.
Emails that didn’t get delivered. This data helps you understand how successful your campaign was and where you might improve next time.
Sending an SMS campaign. Now, let’s move on to sending an SMS campaign. SMS campaigns are handled a little differently. Instead of using the email builder, we’ll go through bulk actions to send text messages to your clients.
Start by navigating to contacts or smart lists from the left-hand menu. Select the contacts or smart lists you want to send your SMS to.
After selecting your contacts, click on Send SMS in the bulk actions menu. In the pop-up window that appears, write your SMS message.
Keep it brief and to the point, since SMS messages have character limits. Personalize your messages by using merge tags like first name, so each client receives a message that feels personal.
Once your message is ready, you can either send it immediately or schedule it. To send the message right away, click Send Now.
To schedule it, choose Schedule, then set the date and time for the message to go out. After sending your SMS campaign, head to the Campaigns or bulk action section to monitor its performance.
You’ll be able to see whether the messages were successfully delivered and which contacts received them. And that’s how you create and send both email and SMS campaigns in My Studio Manager.
