Hello again, and welcome to another tutorial. In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through submitting your address bundle and regulatory bundle to get an Australian mobile phone number in My Studio Manager.
After the bundles are approved, we’ll walk you through selecting a phone number—a process that can sometimes feel overwhelming, but we’ll break it down into clear, manageable steps.
Step 1: Address Bundle Submission
First, submit your address bundle. This bundle must include your primary place of business address. Make sure that this address is correct and matches 100% with your regulatory bundle to avoid any issues. Even small differences will result in a failure, so check everything carefully before submitting.
Step 2: Regulatory Bundle Submission
Next, it’s time to submit the regulatory bundle. The best document to use for this is your business registration certificate from ASIC, which should show your primary place of business address. This single document can be used to meet all three of the required document fields. Also, be sure to use your ABN number as the document number. As with the address bundle, the information here must match exactly. If there’s any difference between the regulatory bundle and the address bundle, the submission will fail. Additionally, ensure the document you provide includes the business address.
Step 3: Selecting an Australian Mobile Phone Number
Once your address bundle and regulatory bundle have been approved, you’re ready to select your phone number. This step can feel overwhelming, but don’t worry—we’ll guide you through it.
First, navigate to the Phone Number section within My Studio Manager. You’ll see a button that says “Add Number.” Click this to start the process. You’ll then be prompted to choose the country, which in this case will be Australia.
Once selected, a list of available Australian mobile numbers will be displayed. Here’s where it can get tricky: selecting a number from this list. Take your time to review the available numbers. You may see different area codes or number formats. Choose the number that best suits your studio’s needs and location.
Once you’ve chosen the number, confirm the selection. The number will now be linked to your account and you can start using it for SMS messaging and other communication features with your clients.
Step 4: Testing Your Number
After selecting your number, it’s a good idea to test it. You can do this by sending a test SMS or making a test call to ensure everything is working smoothly. Once confirmed, you’re ready to start using this number for all your studio communications.
And that’s how you submit your address and regulatory bundles and select an Australian mobile phone number in My Studio Manager.
Remember, the key to success is ensuring the bundles match perfectly. And when it comes to selecting your number, take your time and don’t hesitate to test it before moving forward.
