Integrating your iCloud Calendar with your platform can enhance your scheduling efficiency and keep all your appointments, tasks, and events synchronized. Whether you’re managing personal commitments or business meetings, this integration ensures that your calendar remains up-to-date and accessible from any location. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to seamlessly connect your iCloud Calendar, allowing you to streamline your scheduling process and improve overall time management.
Visit account.apple.com and click the sign-in button if prompted to manage your account.
Input the email address or phone number linked to your account, followed by the associated password or passkey.
2. If not already activated, enable two-factor authentication under the Sign-in and Security settings.
3. In the App-Specific Passwords section, click 'Generate Password.'
4. Label the password (e.g., "My CRM’s Calendar") and click 'Create.'
Copy the generated password for use in the next step.
Go to Settings > My Profile > Calendar Settings, then select the option to add a new calendar connection.
2. Click 'Connect' next to iCloud Calendar.
3. Enter your iCloud email address and the app-specific password generated in Step 1.
Upon successful connection, you can proceed with further configuration.
Navigate to the Calendar Configuration section within Your Profile. Assign your iCloud Calendar as your Primary Calendar from the Linked Calendar section.
Save your changes to establish this as your Primary Calendar.
In Calendar Configuration, modify the Check for Conflicts option. Select any additional calendars to prevent double bookings. The software will then account for events from these calendars when assessing availability.
Note: The iCloud Calendar integration is exclusively available for Class Booking, Round-Robin, Collective, and Service Calendars. Simple calendar integration with iCloud is not supported. This integration functions as a "one-way" sync, meaning events created in the software’s calendar will sync to iCloud. Any changes made in the software’s calendar for these appointments will also be reflected in iCloud. However, changes made to iCloud events will not be mirrored in the software's calendar.
Consider an appointment titled "Hair Cut" booked within the software. This appointment will sync with iCloud, and any modifications or deletions made within either system will be reflected in both calendars. Conversely, an appointment like "Pick up John from school" created in iCloud will be displayed in the software, but any changes made in iCloud won’t affect the software’s calendar.
By following these steps, you can effectively integrate your iCloud Calendar with the software, ensuring smooth event synchronisation. While the current integration is limited to one-way syncing, future updates may provide enhanced two-way syncing capabilities for even greater convenience and efficiency.
